It was terrible the rate went up over 1400.00 dollars

They are running a scam, initially they give you a low quote and on the day of pickup the quote doubles up without you adding any more items as compared to the original quote The stuff takes forever to arrive... they essentially go back on all their promises.... Finally when your stuff arrives after a month, The TV is missing, the dining table is missing along with three other boxes and some broken china… 4 months after that …they offer you 70 dollars in settlement...This is a real scam..... I really wish I had a legal recourse against them...I am just exploring my options as a consumer Stay away from them, these guys need to go out of business

First of all, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! They mislead me on price, took forever, and DESTROYED multiple items. Namely, I HAD a nice solid wood TV stand that was damaged so bad that it couldn't even be used again. It was so badly broken that it was almost comical. I needed to move from Iowa to Florida in a shortened timeline due to accepting a new job. I was going to use a Uhaul and move my own things as I didn't have that much to move. However, I decided to compare prices and was contacted by Swift Moving Systems. It was the first company that called me and I was skeptical on moving services in terms of price. I spoke with **** who was actually pretty nice (I thought), but I told him what I had to move and he gave me a price of roughly $1800 which was fairly inexpensive. He told me that since I had a small load that it could be put with another truck but that I only had a limited time to decide. I read through the contract and the estimate and didn't do my due diligence which was regretful. The movers arrived...2 days after they said they would. After they got there and assessed my load they said that it was going to cost another 300 dollars. I had no choice as I had already put down a deposit. It looked like the movers wrapped everything up nicely in order to protect them. But I believe that the moving of my stuff to different trucks through different facilities and drivers led to lack of accountability. I am going to try and get as much money back as I can but it was a learning experience that was expensive and won't soon be forgotten.

Worst moving company ever. Agreed to one price to move from one state to another and then jacked up the price another $2000 on moving day. Lost boxes and items. Other boxes arrived crushed and items broken. In the middle of trying to settle claim and now they are trying to offer only $96 for all losses and damages which total more than $3000. NOT HAPPY! I would NOT recommend them. Terrible company, horrible service.

We were quoted by several different Moving company's prior to our choosing of Swift moving Systems. The reason we went with Swift and not Mayflower or United etc was be cause we were told that for the slightly higher price we were guaranteed a 3 day delivery and packing services and told an 18 wheeler would show up to my home pack up the few remaining items we had left to pack (home was already packed from a move we had just under went 10 months prior and we never really unpacked) and the crew that picked up our load would be the same crew to offload at our destination. Nothing that we were told actually happened......Not even close..... The movers were late showing up to our home. Suppose to be there at 8am showed up at 6pm at night but not in an 18 wheeler! A small 26ft shuttle truck. I was later told that my original quote was incorrect and that the cost was actually going to be double now because there were more then I was quoted to pack. (Remember I moved 10 months prior...they had my itemized list from that move and we actually got rid of a large number of items post that list so no way was there more sq ft. also keep in mind I had 5 other quotes all were less then these guys and they came to my home to give an in-home estimate. TOTAL SCAM! I had to move so we negotiated a price for that one truck...I had no choice as I had to move. So at 9pm now they finally start packing my home. I send my wife and 4 children to a hotel for the night. Movers stay there until 3am..but didn't finish. I received a complaint from the HOA the next morning. They come back the following day around 2pm. Yes, that's right in the afternoon....Late again...I end up having to call their dispatch cause their tiny truck could not hold all my items and they told me they were done and were not coming back. I still had items that needed to be moved. So about 2 hours go by its 6pm they show up back to my home with a half unpacked truck and began to load the rest of my home...But it gets better!!! They charge me a ridicules amount of additional money for those few remaining items! Even more then their original quote!! Well now they were suppose do be to our new home 3 day later....That didn't happen they were there about a week and a half later and it was not Swift that dropped off my items but some random outfit out of Vegas. Every piece of furniture that was on that truck had some kind of damage. They smashed my big screen Plasma TV. Our bed mattresses were wet as if they were left in the rain for a week. Dished broken. Sons Bike was broken, boxed completely smashed. It was bad. The truck driver told me straight up I have a lot of claims to file as the Swift team clearly did not do a good job packing. We are working through the claiming process now but these guys are a total SCAM and should be shut down. Do not make the mistake we did and fall for their lies and promises. Worst move ever.

I hired Swift moving systems to do a long distance move for us. I picked the right movers. Their customer service was spot on. Very helpful all the way. They did an excellent job. Very hard workers! They managed to do everything without any damage and *** they were friendly! No problems with the price and very good movers. You should use them. Given how far I was moving, I could have just moved hiring a van and asking a few friends to help. But the risk in that was badly damaging my valuables; and I just didn’t want the stress. So I hired swift moving systems to do the job. I hired them because they are very inexpensive. Their movers arrived with all the right tools. To be honest, they were done with the job in no time. All I did during the move was drive myself to my new house and receive the delivery. The crew even unpacked and put everything in place. Relocation really doesn’t get any better.

I HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT USE Swift Moving systems!!!If it were an option to leave a zero star review I would. I do not have strong enough language to express my dissatisfaction with this company and here is why... 1) I was charged exactly $867.61 above my original quote. Although I was told I was quoted on the "high" side and it shouldn't be more than my quote. I was not shown the full contract until my stuff was loaded on the truck and held hostage for the additional amount. 2) My stuff was delivered 13 days after the promised delivery date. 3) I was promised Swift Moving Systems is not a broker and that my stuff would stay with the company through the entire move...my stuff arrived in a Penske truck. 4) The delivery driver told me he would not unload my truck unless I paid him $150 cash. I refused to pay him an additional $150 "fee". He tried to drive away with my belongings so I stood behind the truck and threatened to call the Police. He then said he was just going to unload my stuff in the parking lot and leave it. As a single woman and brand new to the city I felt helpless. I needed my belongings, bed, clothes, etc. I had to pay the man an extra $150 cash above my quote just to get my stuff. This company is dishonest, unethical and has no moral principles. They are unprofessional and untimely. I will NEVER use this companies services in the future.

I booked the timeframe with their salesman at swift moving systems and he explained everything to me about the moving procedure and the booking process. Four movers were assigned for my move that did a great job with wrapping and packing my furniture. These guys came exactly on time and did not waste a second but went to work straight away. They packed everything so well and so tightly so all pieces of my furniture were safe and when we reached the final destination, they were intact. Unloading was quick, these people seemed to have fun and they were kind and pleasant. The entire moving process was smooth, including payment. They deserve to get hired!

The sales rep was very polite and was always there for us when we had queries. The crew was great. Was on time and completed the task in just 4 hours without a dent seriously! They were great. Swift moving systems really outperforms every other moving company. They always look out for their clients by providing the most competitive prices. I know that because I have hired them several times now. Each time, everything went very smoothly. They always took extra care of my breakables. They are yet to break any fragile items. They always maintain their timings and I never had to nag them for making a delivery on time. Their prices are ridiculously low and that alone is good enough for hiring them. The worst, the absolute worst. I used Swift because they said they were not a broker, that they had their own trucks. NOT TRUE. Each pick up and delivery person said they were contracted. But that is nothing. My furniture was not delivered for 52 days after my delivery date!! Then things were missing, broken and I was charged way more than I was told ($250 versus $800+). Customer service is the worst once you have been scheduled and put down 1/3 of the total cost. They do not answer phone, hang up on you, respond to phone and email messages and lie, lie, lie. 4 times in one month they said my stuff was on the truck - LIE. The owner even lied to me AND never called back when he said he would in the following "8 min." to be exact. He didn't want to keep me on hold - what a joke!! BEWARE you have been warned. I am would be extremely skeptical of who wrote any positive reviews. BEWARE they have multiple locations - Sunny Isle Fl, Denver, CO, Charlotte NC, Norcross, GA and Bensenville, IL

Once I paid the downpayment, it was very difficult to contact anyone at their office regarding the arrival date and time of the moving van and, especially, when the truck would arrive at our new address. Our possessions arrived more than two weeks later than the salesperson had stated. Boxes were upside down and smashed, some wooden furniture was chipped, dishes were broken. An expensive bicycle was lost. It was apparent that they had moved our possessions out of the truck that had picked up at the old address, stored things at some holding warehouse, and then moved them onto another truck, despite the salesperson's promise that the same truck picking up would be delivering and in four days time. Deliverymen arrived late at night, demanding payment in cash and a tip. I found an empty Jack Daniels bottle outside my house after they left. I still haven't been reimbursed for my lost bicycle.

Aaaahhh, the old "bait and switch", that's what you can expect from Swift Moving Systems. I spent a combined 2.75hrs on the phone, tape measure in hand, with 2 different people from Swift, to confirm inventory, only to be told by the truck driver, on moving day, that we were short by 45%, in our estimate. $2,000 later we had a new bill. Also, its worth noting the change in demeanor(with all Swift represenitives), once they got our $1,900 deposit. They went from sheep to wolves, without skipping a beat. The driver that came to load our belongings was equal to the sleaziest used car salesman I've encountered, BTW. Stay FAR away from this co.

Recently I got a promotion and I was given a new house in a different city. I was very happy but worried about which mover to pick. My friend recommended Swift moving systems and I went with them. I talked with their manager. He was friendly and kind. On the moving day, their team came and very carefully packed all the items. They packed every item with care and co-operated in every single way. They delivered the whole cargo within the allotted time and without any damage. All the workers in the team were very polite and they helped a lot. I am happy to use Swift moving systems. .
